Adult Field Is Now Open - Restoration Project Continues

The Adult Field is now open, however, we still have a few items to complete on our renovation project.  The sod is still to be replaced where the burm was removed.  Also, there are a couple of piles of dirt that need to be used to fill in the low spots with the remainder moved to beyond center field.  The fence in center field will then be closed.

Once the sod is installed, please avoid this area to the extent possible so that the grass will take route.  Also, exercise caution when playing infield and moving to field balls in the outfield as there is a small rise between the infield dirt and outfield.  This will be resolved once the sod is laid.....hopefully, this week.

Finally, the field has been crowned and additional field dirt has been mixed into the infield.  This makes the surface a little bit harder when dry.  We typically wet the field before being dragged to improve the field composition.  However, the Girls Association dug up our water line when they installed their new batting cage foundation.  They plan to reroute the line this week....and then our field should be in great shape with a 'little bit of water' on league game days.

Thanks for your patience during the final steps in this project.
