                                         SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
 

Summer League: Registration for the Summer Leagues is now open. Submit your
            Registration Form via e-mail to jfkaskie@aol.com or to KASA Inc. PO Box 5003,
            Kingwood, Texas 77325.  New teams are required to mail the league fee to the
            KASA, Inc.  PO Box prior to the registration deadline listed below.  See KASA
            League Rules for additional information regarding acceptance criteria.
            At this time, the summer leagues are expected to begin on the following dates.
            As always, the timing could be delayed if rainouts cause a delay in finishing the
            Spring Leagues so check with your league coordinator for the latest information.
                     Wednesday Open League - begins May 28
                     Friday Church League - begins May 30
                     Tuesday Night Church League - begins June 3
                     Sunday COED League - Jeff is still looking at options for a summer league

Friday Church League: There was an error in the A-League standings for Grace IV and
             United Methodist due to an error on the card submitted for their 4/25/08 game.
             The runs and standings have been changed to reflect the correction.

League Rule Changes: A few changes were made to the KASA League Rules for 2008.
              Some of the changes were mandated by the Amateur Softball Association-ASA
              (i.e. Run Rule increased) and some by the KASA Board (COED minimum # of
              players). The changes are highlighted in yellow in the KASA League Rules.

Players/Coaches: Call rainout number if inclement weather is in the area........and if the
              message has not been updated, assume your games will be played as scheduled.

Individual Players: KASA accepts registrations for teams only, not individual players.
              If you are unable to put together a full team, send a note with your contact
              information to the league coordinator below for the league you are interested
              in joining and they will pass your contact information on to the coaches.
